MARTIAL BLISS and THE MAN WITHIN

A Pair of Superb New Books Arrive on our Shelves

MARTIAL BLISS and THE MAN WITHIN

Twelve years have passed since we acquired the inventory of The Military Bookman from its owners Harris and Margaretta Colt, upon the demise of that singular store. Margaretta has now published a memoir, MARTIAL BLISS: The Story of The Military Bookman and, to her delight (and ours), the New York Times has just reviewed it with a flat out rave

We salute her.

Plus, a midsummer toast to Winston Churchill's photogeneity.

We remember her with fondness and enormous sadness.
