A Party and More

Churchill Style is an inexhaustible subject. Certainly it deserves a website all its own. And so, on this, the official publication day of CHURCHILL STYLE: The Art of Being Winston Churchill, by Barry Singer, we have launched, a website wholly devoted to an ongoing conversation about Churchill Style and the ways it continues to touch our world today. The new site features excerpts from the book amplified by regular posts from Mr. Singer filled with fresh details and new discoveries about the very personal world Churchill created for himself away from politics. CLICK HERE for a look.

CHURCHILL STYLE continues to be received enthusiastically in the press:

>The Wall Street Journal this past weekend (April 27-28) featured an excellent full-page preview.

>Vanity Fair this month (May issue) has a mention in their "Hot Type" column. A Vanity Fair web feature story is now in the works.

>The Paris Review recently ran an extended illustrated essay.

>And The N.Y. Times "T" Style Magazine kicked things off in March, as many of you know, with a tasty advance peek.

We also thought you might enjoy a peek at our menu for this Wednesday's CHURCHILL STYLE publishing party - a judicious sampling of Winston Churchill's favorite foods, as reimagined by Neil Kleinberg, the celebrated chef/owner (with his wife DeDe) of Clinton Street Baking Company here in NYC:

Smoked Salmon canapés with crème fraiche & Caviar

Fried Oysters with Branston pickle tartar sauce

Mini Yorkshire Puddings with Rare Roast Beef

Potato-Gruyere Tarts

Mini Chocolate Eclairs
